I too, lost my Jordan last year. There is no " better" but I hope to feel more hopeful. A club nobody wants to be in and turning the sadness into something positive inspires.
I was so deeply moved by this conversation. I remember you both from our early days at Bryan Cave - sharp, capable, determined women who set the bar very high. Hearing your stories now, after all these years, left me in awe. The strength, vulnerability, and grace you’ve brought to such unimaginable loss is truly inspiring. Sharing your hearts so honestly is important; it resonates for those of us out here trying to transform the heartbreaks of an increasingly cruel world into purpose and meaning.
Stephanie, I’m so sorry to learn of the loss of your dear son, Jordan (Gilly) & Kaye there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think of Molly. While those of us not in the “club” can never fully grasp the gravity of the devastating loss of a child, we can bear witness to your grief, share the beauty of your children’s lives as we learn about them through you and help spread their light. Equally important is raising awareness of suicide and death in general, which you both articulated so well. These are just some of the reasons I found your podcast so important. The discussion about mediums and the signs our loved ones on the other side give us was very interesting. I hope that Molly and Gilly send you both a message of love today. Thank you both for sharing and educating!
Stephanie, best of luck with the launch of your podcast and the gathering tomorrow to celebrate Gilly’s life. ❤️❤️
Thanks for reading and sharing 🙏.
